Abu Dhabi, Jun 22: “Our students made us proud again.”, exclaimed Dr. B. R. Shetty, MD & CEO of NMC Group and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Indian School (ADIS). He was addressing the press meet on the occasion of the announcement of academic results in which students of ADIS passed out in flying colours. Of the students Akhilesh Mohan and Laveen Nankani need special mention as they are the UAE Toppers in Commerce and Science streams respectively. Navami Krishna, Kanchan Rajeev, Muhsina Siyabuddin and Gursimarjeet Singh received the Hamdan Award for their excellent performances.
Speaking on the joyous occasion, Dr. Shetty said, “ADIS has always aimed to nurture innate talents of each student and strived to shape them up into individuals with great character and rich principles, enabling them to face the future with confidence.”

Our board members and qualified teachers have always been dedicated to the cause. Adding strength to their efforts were the excellent infrastructure facilities.”, said Dr. Shetty
One of the finest institutions in the country, ADIS set new benchmarks with innovative academic initiatives every time. And is now all set to expand and accommodate more students from the large Indian community in to its fold.
“Keeping pace with the requirements of the strong Indian community, we are planning to expand our facility further. Towards this we have requested for and are awaiting permission from the Abu Dhabi Education Council and the Abu Dhabi Government. Once we get an approval from the authorities, we shall in no time build up the new facility and extend our humble services for the cause of quality education.”, added Dr. Shetty.
This special event was attended by Mr. V.K.Mathu, Principal, ADIS, Mr. Sarvotham Shetty, Board Member and Advisor for Sports, ADIS, other officials of the ADIS Board, special invitees and the Media.
